Yangshan town

Yangshan Town, subordinate to Jinxiang County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwest of Jinxiang County, at the junction of Jining, Heze and Jinxiang, Jiaxiang and Juye counties. It is adjacent to Huji town in the East, Wanfu River in the south, Xieji town in Juye County in the West and Jiaxiang in the north, with an administrative area of 72.02 square kilometers.

After 1945, Yangshan was the 5th District of Jinxiang county. In February 1958, it was changed to Yangshan commune, and in August the same year it was renamed Chifeng commune. 1962, the Yangshan commune was restored; March 1984, it was converted to Yangshan town; in April 1995, 11 administrative villages, including five kings and song Tun, were assigned to the township of Da Yi; at the end of 2018, the Yangshan town had 56178 registered residence population; as at the end of the year, 62 villages were under the jurisdiction of Yangshan town. The town people's government is stationed in wangjulou village.

History of construction

After 1945, Yangshan was the Fifth District of Jinxiang County.

In February 1958, it was renamed Yangshan commune, and in August of the same year, it was renamed Chifeng commune.

In 1962, Yangshan commune was restored.

In March 1984, it was rebuilt into Yangshan town.

In April 1995, anyuwang, songtun and other 11 administrative villages were included in Dayi township.
