Xinli Town

Xinli Town, subordinate to Zhongxian County, Chongqing City, is located in the west of Zhongxian County, bordering Bashan town in the East, Dongjia town in Fengdu County in the south, Shuanggui street in the west, Shahe Township in Dianjiang County, Huaqiao town in the north, 40 kilometers away from Zhongxian County Government, with a total area of 116 square kilometers.

In the late Qing Dynasty, Xinli Town was under the jurisdiction of Tongde township; in October 1992, Xinli Township and Zhongling Township merged into Xinli Town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xinli Town was 53360. As of June 2020, Xinli Town has 5 communities and 14 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Xinli Town is located in Wenchang community.

The main food crops in Xinli Town are rice, wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and cattle; the main industry is food processing. In 2018, there were 48 industrial enterprises in Xinli Town, including one above scale and 55 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the late Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Tongde township.

In 1931, Xinli township was established. In 1935, Xinli Township and Zhongling Township were merged into the new China joint insurance. In 1936, the new China joint insurance was divided into Xinli and Zhongling joint insurance. In 1940, Xinli and Zhongling were merged into Xinli township. In 1941, Zhongling township was established.

In October 1992, Xinli Township and Zhongling Township merged into Xinli Town.

In March 2006, the elite township was merged into Xinli Town.

In 1997, Xinli Town had 26 administrative villages including Xinli, Nongan, Licheng, Qingtian, Hongyan, Shuangfu, Baima, Gaole, Shuangbai, Panlong, Shuangming, Guanping, Sandong, Huayan, Zhongling, Dajiang, Shizi, Jiantan, Dajian, Tianchi, Dagu, longzhai, Guihua, Guankou, Wenbi, huangdou and a community in Wenchang.

In 2011, Xinli Town had 2 administrative villages: Xinli, Nong, Hongyan, Baima, Huafu, Shuangbai, Guan Ping, osmanthus, Zhong Ling, arrow beach, lion, stone temple, Haizhu, Changling, elite, 100 grain and moss 17 administrative villages; 18 residential groups and 14 villagers' groups were set up in Wenchang.

As of June 2020, Xinli Town had 5 communities and 14 administrative villages: Wenchang community, Wen pen community, Zhong Ling community, Xinli community, Xinli community, Nong Jing Village, Hongyan village, Hua Fu Village, Baima village, Shuangbai village, Guan Ping Village, Guihua Village, lion village, arrow Beach village, baichi village, Haizhu village, Changling village, Shi Miao village, Qingtai village, and the people's Government in Wenchang community.
