Bajiazi town
Bajiazi Town, belonging to Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Jianchang County, adjacent to Xingcheng city in the East, Suizhong County in the south, Datun town in the West and yangshuwanzi Township in the north. It is located in the southeast of Jianchang County, 36.6 kilometers away from the county seat of Jianchang County, adjacent to Xingcheng in the East, Suizhong County in the south, Datun town in the west, and yangshuwanzi Township in the north, with an administrative area of 92.9 square kilometers.
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty (1875-1908), shaheshaopai and gujiatunpai were set up in the territory, belonging to hulusu township; in 1984, Bajiazi town was changed; on August 16, 2006, Bajiazi economic development zone was upgraded to provincial Development Zone and renamed as Liaoning Huludao Bajiazi economic development zone. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of eight towns was 15867. As of June 2020, Bajiazi town has jurisdiction over one community and eight administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Bajiazi village.
In 2011, the general budget revenue of Bajiazi town was 50.48 million yuan, an increase of 168% over the previous year; the local general budget revenue was 17.66 million yuan, an increase of 85% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in Bajiazi Town, including 2 above scale and 7 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1875-1908), shaheshao and gujiatun were set up in the territory, belonging to hulusu township.
In 1931, it was the Fourth District of Lingnan Administrative Bureau.
In 1933, it was the Fourth District of Lingnan county.
In 1946, it belonged to Datun district.
In 1957, Bajiazi and shaheshao townships were set up in the territory, belonging to the monk house and heishanke district respectively.
In 1958, it belonged to Datun commune.
In 1961, Bajiazi commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed into Bajiazi town.
On August 16, 2006, it was upgraded to provincial Development Zone and renamed Bajiazi Economic Development Zone in Huludao, Liaoning Province.

History and culture
In the eighth year of Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty (1743), the Wangye mansion of Kalaqin Left Banner sent zhalang, a surname of Chen, to lead eight Mongolian families to settle here and guard the border, hence the name.
