Shuiyuan town
Shuiyuan Town, subordinate to Yongchang County, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Yongchang County, adjacent to zhuwangbao town in the East, Shuangcheng Town and Hongxiang Township in Liangzhou District of Wuwei City in the south, Liuba Township in the west, Hexibao town in the northwest and Shuangwan town in Jinchuan District in the north, with an administrative area of 598 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the town had 21008 registered residence population. As of June 2020, 11 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of the water source town, and the township government was in the village of Shui Ning Bao.
At the end of 2011, Shuiyuan town had a rural credit cooperative network, a financial institution with a deposit balance of 220 million yuan and a loan balance of 80 million yuan; in 2018, Shuiyuan town had 16 industrial enterprises, 6 Enterprises above Designated Size and 51 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Yongning township; in September 1949, it belongs to Yongning district.
In December 1955, Yongyu township was established.
In September 1958, it was changed into Shuiyuan commune.
In June 1983, the government and society were separated and the water source Township was restored.
In October 1985, the commune was abolished.
In September 2000, the township was removed to build a town.

natural disaster
The main natural disasters in Shuiyuan town include wind disaster, flood, hail, box freezing, etc. the most serious flood occurred on August 30, 1995. The flood destroyed 300 mu of farmland and 2.5 km of channels, causing economic losses of more than 1 million yuan.
