It has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages, namely Changxing, Hanzhai, Mutun, cuitun, Xutun, Matun, baizhangtun, weibukou, Wangji, huangtang, zengzhuang, Datian, dashenzhuang, Renqiao, xiwangzhuang, Dawangzhuang, Yanzhuang, Jiangzhai, taizisi, Laowan, daita, Fenglou, xiaoliangsi, Yangzhuang and Lilou.

Historical evolution

Changxing Central Township was set up in 1956. It belonged to Hexiao commune in 1958. Changxing commune was established in 1962 and changed to township in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 76 square kilometers and has a population of 29000. It governs 15 administrative villages, namely Changxing, dashenzhuang, Matun, baizhangtun, Wangji, huangtang, Mutun, xiwangzhuang, datianzhuang, Hanzhai, weibukou, Renqiao, Xutun, cuitun and zengzhuang. In 2005, Wangzhuang township was abolished, and its administrative region was put under the jurisdiction of Changxing Township, and the resident of Changxing Township Government remained unchanged. In 2012, Changxing Township was changed from township to town. On July 19, 2011, with the approval of the province, city and county, the township was withdrawn to build a town, covering a total area of 154 square kilometers, with 25 administrative villages, 222 natural villages, 317 villager groups and a total population of 56000. as of 2017, the town has a total administrative area of 144.74 square kilometers and a permanent population of 57013.
