Changling town is located at the junction of Taihu, Susong and Wangjiang counties, with convenient transportation. Taihua and Yuebei provincial roads meet here, 17 km to the west, and then go straight to the "Shanghai Chengdu" expressway. The planned "Ji Guang" expressway will also pass through the town.

Changling town is located at the intersection of Taihua and Yuebei provincial roads, only 17 kilometers away from the "Shanghai Chengdu" expressway, known as the "North Gate" of Wangjiang. Huayang port in the county is one of the largest agricultural supporting ports on the Yangtze River, which can berth 5000 ton Jiang Hai vessels for a long time. The town is only 70 kilometers away from Anqing city. Anqing Jiujiang highway connects Anqing railway station, Anqing airport and anqing port. The "Ji Guang" expressway, one of the nine longitudinal expressways in China, is also designed to pass through the town (the "Ji Guang" expressway and Wangjiang bridge have been included in the national "Tenth Five Year" plan, and the preliminary work has been included in the key work of Anhui Province in 2005). After the completion of Wangjiang bridge, the trunk line will be connected with Jiangnan riverside Expressway and Anjing expressway, and will be connected with Jiangnan riverside railway. In the near future, Changling town will become a central town that reaches the Yangtze River Delta in the East, the Pearl River Delta in the south, Sichuan, Chongqing and Hubei in the west, and Hebei, Shandong and Henan in the north.

After three years of rural and urban power network construction and transformation, the power supply network of the whole county has good power supply capacity. There is a 35KV substation in the town, which can supply kilowatt hours per year. Located on the north side of Yangchang highway, the 110kV Substation in Wangjiang leads to each administrative village with a 10KV outgoing line. The total capacity of the converter is 7150kv.

water supply

There are two kinds of tap water in the territory, with a daily water supply of about 6000 tons, which can meet the needs of industrial water, domestic water and some agricultural water. The water quality of Pohu lake and Wuchang Lake in the two waterworks reaches the national surface water class II standard. Hualiangting reservoir can irrigate the whole town and basically guarantee the water demand for Industry and agriculture.

Post and telecommunication

There are three posts and telecommunications branch offices with a total installed capacity of 40000. With the rapid development of mobile telecommunications, China Mobile and China Unicom have built networks.

Other service management organizations

There is a university for the aged, a senior vocational middle school, three junior middle schools, three central primary schools and 49 basic primary schools in the town, with 11876 students and 515 teaching staff. The primary health network is relatively sound, and the pattern of village level cooperative medical system and Township Central Health Center has initially formed.

The township has branches of Agricultural Bank of China, rural credit cooperatives and other financial institutions, as well as industrial and commercial branch, tax branch and other economic management institutions, which can meet the needs of economic development.

In 2017, the GDP was 1.287 billion yuan, an increase of 8.0%, the gross industrial output value was 1.975 billion yuan, an increase of 12.8%, the investment in fixed assets was 1.117 billion yuan, exceeding the target task by 6.86 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 15.8572 million yuan, exceeding the target task by 15%.

Changling town has a subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 17 ℃, annual precipitation of 1400mm and frost free period of 250 days. It is suitable for planting cotton, rice, rape and other crops. It is a "land of fish and rice" and a "high-quality cotton producing area" in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

Huangjiayan coal mine, Xiaolongshan silicate and Jinjishan fengfossil are rich in reserves and have high mining value. According to the field investigation of experts, Zhegushan and Nanshan have a large amount of mineral materials with high quality. They can not only make glazed tiles, but also make high-quality pottery products.

There are four mountains (Longshan, Zhegu, Nanshan and Jinji) and two lakes (Pohu and Wuchang) with beautiful environment and beautiful scenery. Cotton processing is the pillar industry of Changling Town, and a cotton purchasing and processing zone with Changling ginning factory and Wangda Textile Co., Ltd. as the leading enterprises has initially formed. In order to do a good job of "cotton" and expand the town economy, the town government has increased investment, developed deep processing of cotton, and formed an industrial chain from planting, purchasing and processing to garment production and trading. The grain and oil processing industry has developed rapidly, and dozens of grain and oil processing plants have been built.
