Shuanghuan Village Street

Shuanghuan village street is a township level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Hongqiao District, Tianjin, China. It governs seven communities. The office is located in Jiayuan Dongli community.

Historical evolution

From 1985 to 1990, two residential areas, jiayuanli and Shuanghuan, were built in the northern suburb of Hongqiao District. Later, Shuanghuan street was established with the approval of the municipal government, and jiayuanli District Management Office was built in the same year.

Jiayuanli District Management Office was merged into Shuanghuan street in 1993.

In 1996, it covers an area of 1.9 square kilometers and has a population of 19000. The office is located in Jiayuan Dongli, and has jurisdiction over 13 neighborhood committees including Jiayuan Beili 1, Jiayuan Beili 2, Jiayuan Nanli 1, Jiayuan Nanli 2, Jiayuan Dongli 1, Jiayuan Dongli 2, baochunli, chaochunli, mengchunli, bichunli, qichunli, yuechunli and fengqiuli.

In 2011, it has nine neighborhood committees: Jiayuan Dongli community, Jiayuan Nanli community, Jiayuan Beili community, baochunli community, mengchunli community, bichunyuan community, yichunli community, Haoda apartment community and XinDongLi community.

In 2013, it has jurisdiction over 10 existing neighborhood committees.
