Zhongcheng Street

Zhongcheng street belongs to Shunqing District, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, with a total population of 74005 (2010).

Founded in May 1956, Zhongcheng street is an agency of the people's Government of Shunqing District, Nanchong City. In July 1960, it merged with Beicheng sub district office and established Nanchong Wuxing people's commune. In August 1962, the commune was abolished and the sub district office was restored. In April 1969, the Revolutionary Committee of Nanchong Zhongcheng sub district office was established. In February 1982, the sub district office was restored. On January 4, 1988, it was renamed Zhongcheng sub district office of Nanchong Municipal People's government. In July 1993, the district was adjusted and Zhongcheng sub district office of Shunqing District People's Government of Nanchong City was established. The office is located at 408 Beihu Road, Nanchong City.

Zhongcheng street is located in the center of Nanchong City. It is connected with Jialing River in the East, Xicheng in the south, Xinjian in the west, Heping Road in the northwest and Xicheng in the north. It covers an area of 4.5 square kilometers. The total population is 74005 (in 2010), and the floating population is more than 30000

Zhongcheng street has six communities: Pingcheng street, Binjiang street, Hezhong street, stadium, medical street and Daoxiang road.
