Sandu Township

Sandu township is located in the northeast of Songyang, adjacent to Lishui and Wuyi. Sandu township is 15 kilometers away from the county seat, with convenient transportation and beautiful scenery. With an average altitude of 518 meters, the township has 18 administrative villages and 36 natural villages, including Lizhuang, zhoushantou, huanglinggen, Chenghui, Danzhu, Zicao, Shuizhu, lingshang, Shangyuan, Shangtian, Yinyuan, Xiatian, Shangzhuang, Youtian, Houwan, Maoyuan, yangjiatang and Songzhuang. The total population of the township is 8290. There are 5896 mu of cultivated land and 69875 mu of mountainous area. It is a typical mountainous township of "nine mountains, half water and half farmland". In 2006, the total industrial and agricultural output value of Sandu township was 30.66 million yuan. The main products of Alpine vegetable varieties are 3000 mu Zizania latifolia, 1000 mu ginger and 500 mu kidney beans. Among them, Zizania latifolia has become a pillar industry of increasing farmers' income in Sandu. In 2006, the total output value of the improved varieties reached 7.92 million yuan, an increase of 1.68 million yuan over the previous year, and the economic benefit doubled. There are 10000 mu of high mountain fruits with high quality and early maturing pear as the main fruit, among which 22 pieces are continuously developed, a total of 7748 mu. The annual output value is over 8 million yuan. There are two fruit industry limited companies, Lvzhen and Lvdu, five fruit and vegetable cooperatives and 22 fruit development owners in the township. They jointly established Sandu organic fruit association, and applied for the registered trademarks of "Lvzhen", "Dandan" and "Taohuayuan". These units have obtained the organic food conversion certificate of Zhejiang Province. In 2006, at the provincial, ministerial and county-level evaluation of high-quality early ripening pears, the early ripening pears selected by the township won several gold awards of high quality, and the products entered the Wal Mart supermarket in Shenzhen and Jiayou supermarket in Shanghai. In 2009, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 43.17 million yuan, including 34.79 million yuan of agricultural output value, 8.37 million yuan of industrial output value, and 5271 yuan of per capita income of farmers.

In 2011, the total output value of the township was 57.77 million yuan, an increase of 28.23 million yuan or 96% over 2006. Among them, the agricultural output value is 48.56 million yuan, the industrial output value is 9.21 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers is 7481 yuan, which is 95%, 102% and 217% higher than that of 2006 respectively. Development ideas

Taking the construction of agricultural industry projects as the carrier, according to the development idea of "government guidance and market operation", we strive to build Sandu fruit and vegetable brand and vigorously promote agricultural industrialization. From 2006 to 2011, we developed 10000 mu of Alpine fruits and 8000 mu of Alpine vegetables. In the development of Alpine fruits, we should pay attention to the technical improvement of fruit varieties, and carry out variety improvement and orchard interplanting technology. By 2011, the total improved area of the orchard has reached 6000 mu, and the average benefit per mu has increased by 300 yuan. The main varieties of Alpine vegetables are Zizania latifolia, kidney beans, ginger and pepper. Meanwhile, the "short, flat and fast" projects are constantly introduced to increase farmers' income. Alpine fruits and vegetables have become the main part of farmers' income in Sandu. In addition, 2200 mu of tea and 2000 mu of Torreya grandis have been developed. People's living standards have been gradually improved and their development capacity has been continuously enhanced.
