Limin town is under the jurisdiction of Hulan District. It is located in the south of the District, adjacent to Songhua River in the East and Songbei District of Harbin in the south. Ha hei and ha Luo highways pass through the District, 8 km away from Hulan city.
Historical evolution
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the fourth Hexi District of Hulan Prefecture. during the period of the Republic of China, it was subordinate to Wanbao Town, Hulan County. In 1945, after the victory of the "93" Anti Japanese War, he was subordinate to Taitun district. In 1947, it was under the jurisdiction of Leye district. In March 1956, the village was divided into townships and Limin township was set up. In September 1958, he joined Leye people's commune. In 1961, Limin people's commune was established. in March 1984, the government and society were separated and changed into Limin township. in January 1985, the township was replaced by the town of Limin. In 1988, Limin town was established as Hulan County Economic and Technological Development Zone. In 2004, Hulan county was incorporated into Harbin urban area and renamed Hulan District. The people's Government of Hulan District is located at No. 8, Nanjing Road, Limin economic and Technological Development Zone.

The terrain of Limin town is higher in the West and lower in the East. The total area of the town is 143 square kilometers, with 84800 mu of arable land and more than one third of the rice planting area.
Economics
Animal husbandry developed rapidly. In 1990, the amount of dairy cattle and milk production ranked second in the county, and the amount of poultry raising, marketing and egg production ranked first in the county. Township run industries include agricultural machinery, clothing processing, comprehensive processing, wood factory, etc. in 1992, the total output value of township enterprises reached 37.86 million yuan.

Transportation
The Limin economic and Technological Development Zone of Harbin is 9 kilometers away from the urban area of Harbin. There are two railways in Binbei and Binzhou, three highways in Harbin, including the North Fourth Ring Road, Heida, hay and Haruo, and two expressways in hada and HaSui, which form a traffic network of crossed waterways, railways and highways. It is the throat of Harbin to the hinterland of Heilongjiang and the Russian border port.
