Nancheng Street

Nancheng sub district office is located in the southern suburb of Gaoping City. It is named after the location. It is the valley of judan River and its tributary xiaodongcang river. It borders Mishan town in the East, YeChuan town in the west, Hexi Town in the South and Dongcheng Street and Beicheng street in the north. With a total area of 53.79 square kilometers, it governs 23 administrative villages, 10 neighborhood committees (including 5 non-agricultural community neighborhood committees and 5 rural neighborhood committees), 123 Village (neighborhood) groups, with a total population of 66032 (2010), 45 party branches and 1428 party members, with a total cultivated land of 30501 mu. The sub district office is located in Kangle street.

Organizational system

In 1961, Gaoping and Jincheng were divided into counties, belonging to Chengguan people's commune of Gaoping County; in 1984, the government and society were separated, belonging to Chengguan town; in 1994, with the approval of Gaoping City, the former Chengguan town was divided into three parts, namely, Nancheng office, Dongcheng office and Beicheng office. In 2001, the township administrative divisions of Gaoping City were adjusted (Jin Zheng Han No.7; Jin Shi Zheng FA No.5 on January 10), the offices of Tangzhuang Township and Nancheng road were abolished, and a new Nancheng sub district office was established. The former administrative areas of Tangzhuang Township and Nancheng sub district office and the two villages of Chuanqi and shiqiaokou in Mishan town were taken as the administrative areas of Nancheng sub district office.

geographical environment

Located in the hinterland of the Yellow River, it has a temperate continental monsoon climate. Its characteristics are: four distinct seasons, dry and windy spring, rainy summer, cool autumn, cool winter. The annual average temperature is 10.3 ℃, the maximum temperature is 35.6 ℃, and the minimum temperature is - 18 ℃. The annual average rainfall is 580mm, mainly from July to September. The frost free period is 192 days. The territory has convenient transportation. Changjin expressway, 207 National Road, Changjin provincial road and the West Ring Road run through the north and south, and the provincial road flat curve runs across the East and West. The transportation is convenient. Because it is located in the junction of the city and the suburbs, it has obvious geographical advantages, and is the key development area of the new round of urban planning in Gaoping City. Tourism has a profound cultural heritage and a long history. There are skeleton temple, Yuan Dynasty temple, Jinfeng temple and so on. Gaoping ancient eight scenery "Jinfeng night moon" and "Hengjian Chuihong" are in this area. The exhibition hall of red holy land was built in wayaotou village.
