Yongan Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhongjiang County, Deyang City, Sichuan Province, China. It is located in the Middle East of Zhongjiang County. It is 28 kilometers away from the county, covering an area of 48.21 square kilometers. It has 19 administrative villages, 2 neighborhood committees and 219 agricultural production cooperatives. Evolution of administrative districts

Yongan Town, commonly known as cattle farm, was built in the Qing Dynasty.

In 1940, Niushan was changed to Yong'an (named for its eternal health and prosperity), and a township office was set up.

In March 1950, the people's Government of Yong'an township was established, belonging to Longtai district.

In 1958, Yong'an people's commune was established.

In 1961, it was transferred to Yong'an district.

In March 1981, the place name was changed to Chang'an commune because of its duplicate name in Mianyang.

In April 1984, it was renamed Chang'an township.

In December 1989, Chang'an township was abolished and Yong'an town was established.

In May 1996, Longsheng township was withdrawn and merged into Yong'an town.
