Zhonghua Road is a street in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, China, reaching Dianli road in the East and Changjiang Road in the West and North. It is 927 meters long and 10-20 meters wide. It used to be the westernmost one of the five entrances of the Grand Canal in Zhenjiang, which is called the grand Jingkou. In the early years of the Republic of China, it was gradually silted up. In 1931, dajingkou was filled up and built into a gravel road. From the riverside public wharf to the Shifu bridge, it was named dakoumen street, and later renamed Zhonghua Road. The project started in March of that year and was completed in November. During the cultural revolution, Zhonghua Road was once renamed anti imperialist Road, and it was restored to its original name after the cultural revolution. Zhonghua Road first extended to Baota road in the East, and then extended to Dianli road in 1994.

Zhonghua Road was once one of the main prosperous streets in Zhenjiang because of its proximity to the riverside ferry terminal. In 1937, he was destroyed by the Japanese army in the Anti Japanese war. After the decline of water transportation and the eastward movement of Zhenjiang City Center, Zhonghua Road also gradually declined. There are many small streets and alleys at the intersection of Zhonghua Road: Rixin street, pentang lane, Tianmen Street (today's Renmin Street), Yuxiang, chaitan lane, Baoan new street, Shizi street, Laoxin street, Youxin street, dayangjia lane, xiaoyangjia lane, XIAOYINGPAN, dazhakou, Zhonghua Road Back Street, yaoyiwan, taojiamen, Dasuo street, zoujia lane, Fuqiao lane, etc.
