Zhaocun town

Zhaocun town is a town level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. It is located in the west of Lushan County, adjacent to Yaoshan town in the west, Xiatang town in the East, Ruyang County in the north, Sikeshu Township in the south, Shahe River and national highway 311 across the East and West. The town has 29 administrative villages, 191 villager groups and 29584 people (2017), with a total area of 217.51 square kilometers. In 2015, the township was removed and the town was built.

Zhaocun has convenient transportation, rich resources, honest people and beautiful environment. It is adjacent to the Shiren Mountain scenic spot in the West and Lin Biao underground command post (Secret Cave Scenic Spot) in the south. There are three hot springs of Shangtang, Zhongtang and Wentang, pearl pool scenic spot and Sanchakou folk custom scenic spot. Tourism is a new pillar industry of the town, and also a leading industry of the town's economy.

Barren mountain development

The township has Fengwo barren mountain resources, with a total area of more than 40000 mu. Up to now, a total of 27000 mu of barren hills have been developed. Guobei Shilang plum base has invested more than 1.3 million yuan, developed more than 7000 mu of barren hills, planted 21 varieties and more than 50000 trees of Bulang plum, with an estimated annual output value of more than 10 million yuan. It is currently the largest base of Bulang plum in western Henan.

Tourism development

Swimming is not only a new pillar industry in the township, but also a leading industry in the economic development of the township. The territory is rich in swimming resources, including Shangtang, Zhongtang and Wentang hot springs, beautiful mountains and rivers, zhenshutan waterfalls, and Sanchakou folk tourism area. The Shangtang Hot Spring Development Zone, which is under development and construction, integrates the natural and cultural landscape. The project is of great scale, and the landscape in the zone is gathered together. Among them, century clock, the world's largest Buddha and so on are listed as the largest in the world. On December 6, 2016, the Ministry of land and resources awarded the title of "hometown of hot springs in China"

Silk flower processing

Silk flower is a kind of handicraft. Its color is bright and colorful all the year round. It is better than real flower. It is a good decoration for home or hotel, conference room, banquet hall and so on. It is widely used in weddings and funerals, birthday festivals and other custom activities. Its raw materials are chemical fiber, silk, cotton, silk, etc. Zhaocun township is the main production base of Lushan silk flower. In the early 1990s, the local villagers began processing from Guangdong, and then gradually developed. Yan Jinfeng, Yan Ruilin and other people with insight learned technology from other provinces, returned to their hometown to invest and set up factories, forming an integration of production and sales. Today, more than 40000 people in more than ten towns of the county have been involved, and sales personnel have been all over the country. The products are exported to Russia, Japan, North Korea, Singapore and the Netherlands LAN and other places, with annual sales of 126 million yuan, has become the first in the Central Plains and the third largest silk flower production and wholesale base in China.
