Gaocun Township

Gaocun township is located in the southwest of Wanrong County, 10 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 89.9 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 31833 (2017). National Highway 109 runs through the countryside. It has jurisdiction over 20 village committees including Wuting, BeiXue, jucun, wangya, Xuecun, Guocun, Zhuoli, Xuedian, Zhangxue, Wangli, Gaocun, Dingfan, Fengcun, magou, Banpo, Yanjing, panchao, Yangzhuang, Nanli and Xiaotao. Agricultural production of wheat, cotton is the county's main apple production area. Specialty Wanrong cattle. Cultural relics include the spring tower of song Jianhan.
