Dahe Town, belonging to Luquan District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Luquan District, bordering Zhengding County in the East, Dubei town in Shijiazhuang City in the southeast, Daguo town in Shijiazhuang City in the south, Shijing Township in the West and Lichun town in the north, with an administrative area of 63.82 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Dahe registered residence was 47966.

In 1949, Dahe Town belonged to the Fifth District of Huolu County; in 1996, urban and rural areas were merged into Dahe township; in 2000, Dahe Town was replaced by township. As of June 2020, Dahe Town has jurisdiction over one community and 26 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Xiaohe village.

History of construction

In 1949, Dahe Town belonged to the Fifth District of Huolu county.

In 1952, Dahe and Gucheng primary societies were established.

In 1953, Dahe Township and Gucheng Township were established.

In 1958, it belonged to the iron and steel commune.

In 1961, Dahe and Gucheng communes were established.

In April 1983, it was changed into Dahe Township and Gucheng township.
