Hongqi Street is under the jurisdiction of Ziliujing District, Zigong City, Sichuan Province.

On August 31, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Zigong to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships: cancel Hongqi Township and set up Hongqi Street. The administrative areas of Hongqi Street are the former Hongqi Township and yanggongqiao village, Zijing community, Donghu community and yanggongqiao community of Weiping Town, Yantan district. Hongqi Street office is located at 255 xingchuannan street.

Evolution of organizational system

On August 1, 2005, Hongqi township was put under the jurisdiction of Ziliujing district from Da'an District, and then entrusted by Ziliujing district to the Management Committee of high tech Zone.

In September 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the cancellation of Hongqi Township and the establishment of Hongqi Street in Ziliujing district. The former Hongqi Township and part of Weiping town in Yantan district are the Hongqi Street area, and the administrative areas of yanggongqiao village, Zijing community, Donghu community and yanggongqiao community are the administrative areas of Hongqi Street.

Hongqi Street governs the original Hongqi Township Dayan community, Jinghu community, xijingyuan community, yuejing community, Guihu community, Dayan village and Baiguo village, and the original Yantan District Weiping town yanggongqiao village, Zijing community, Donghu community and yanggongqiao community, with a total of 8 communities and 3 villages.

In July 2020, it was rated as "advanced collective of Zigong double support work" by Zigong municipal Party committee, Zigong Municipal People's government and Zigong military division.
