Xiaying town

Xiaying town is located in the northern mountainous area of Jizhou District, Tianjin city, 17.8 km long from east to west and 7.2 km long from north to south, with a total area of 132 square kilometers. The town governs 35 administrative villages with 5674 households and 20575 permanent residents (2017).

On July 27, 2017, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development announced the second batch of national characteristic towns, and Xiaying town was shortlisted.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Xiaying town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.

In the town, there is jiushanshan, the highest peak in Tianjin, with an altitude of 1078.5 meters; Baxianshan, a complete broad-leaved secondary forest area first discovered in North China, with a forest area of 6200 mu. There are Huangyaguan Great Wall, the Middle Upper Proterozoic Geopark and other scenic spots that patriotic general Qi Jiguang has been guarding for 16 years; there is shitouying village, the only Manchu village in Tianjin; there are three boundary steles with one foot in three cities; and there are 41 kilometers of ancient Great Wall Relics.

Economic situation

By the end of 2004, the town's GDP had reached 198.89 million yuan, the total output value of industry and agriculture had reached 385.11 million yuan, the net income of farmers had reached 5356 yuan, and the fiscal revenue had reached 3.97 million yuan. The town's comprehensive economic strength has entered the ranks of the top ten towns in the county. The town has formed three leading industries: forest and fruit production, livestock breeding and tourism.

In the past 10 years, by making use of the unique tourism resources, we have successively built the eight immortals cave in Huangyaguan, Qishan ancient cave, Jiushan peak, Longquan Mountain, Ganjian resort, qingshanling jinsongyuan and other town scenic spots. Jiushan peak scenic spot, located in Changzhou village, has been rated as the national 2A scenic spot, attracting a large number of tourists from Beijing, Tianjin and Tang Dynasties. The middle and Upper Proterozoic geological scenic spot is under planning and construction, and has broad development prospects. Jixian has a good reputation as the back garden of Tianjin, and Xiaying town has become an important part of the back garden. There are 19 professional tourism villages, 316 rural hotels and 5384 beds in the town. 171 households and 2655 beds were registered.

Transportation

Xiaying town is located at 39 ° 5 ′ - 40 ° 15 ′ N and 117 ° 05 ′ - 117 ° 47 ′ e, only 20 km away from the urban center of Jizhou district. Within 30 km around the town, there are more than 10 scenic spots such as Panshan, Jinhai lake, great karst cave, qingdongling, etc. Jinwei highway and Maying highway pass through the town. The whole town has realized that every administrative village is connected with asphalt highway, with a total mileage of 52.5 km. All the cultivated land and 95% of the distant and near mountain farms are connected with mountain operation roads, with a total mileage of 235 km. There are three inter provincial transportation routes in the town, which can directly reach Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Xiaying town is located in the northernmost part of Tianjin, with an average altitude of about 280 meters. It is a typical warm temperate semi humid continental monsoon climate, with significant monsoon. It is dry and windy in winter and spring, hot and rainy in summer, concentrated in rainy season and heavy rain. The summer rainfall accounts for 80% of the whole year, and the average rainfall over the years is about 500-800 mm. The annual average sunshine is about 2754 hours, the total solar radiation heat is about 125.3 kcal / cm2, the annual accumulated temperature is 4000-4200 ℃ and the frost free period is about 160 days, which can meet the demand of water and heat for plant growth. The town is rich in plant species, with most of the species in northern China, trees and shrubs, coniferous and broad-leaved forest mixed, and specialty donglinghua, chestnut and other flower species. There are Baxian Mountain primeval forest, Jiushan mountain primeval secondary forest, mianting forest and arbor and shrub forest belt across the town.

In Xiaying Town, there is only one large river, the Gouhe River, which runs through 15 villages in the west of the town and irrigates only about 5000 mu of farmland and mountain farms nearby. The shortage of water resources has become the bottleneck of economic development. To this end, the town government has implemented the water diversion project, water diversion project and rainwater collection project, which greatly alleviated the water shortage. At present, there are 5 large reservoirs in the town. In 2001, an artificial lake with a water surface area of 8.5 square kilometers was built, with a volume of 10 to 100 cubic meters and 1234 drinking and irrigation pits. There are 24 deep wells, 11 large and small dams, 1234 large wells, 112865 meters of pipelines, 71797 meters of anti-seepage channels and 2316 mountain valley dams in 35 administrative villages of the town. These water conservancy facilities give full play to the role of regulation and control, accumulate the source of summer rainstorm, regulate the water use in other three seasons, reduce soil erosion, and effectively protect the ecological environment.

social undertakings

Since the implementation of the "township qualification" training project in 1994, farmers in the whole town have been trained in social knowledge, wealth skills, service etiquette and other aspects in three years. In 2005, according to the arrangement of Tianjin, the "351" training project was implemented. Due to the emphasis on the cultivation of quality, the increase of opening to the outside world, and the further deepening of communication and contact with the outside world, the quality of farmers in the town has been greatly improved, and they are integrating into modern civilization.

Xiaying town of Jizhou district has beautiful ecological environment, rich natural resources, rapid economic development, stable social security and coordinated progress of various social undertakings. It is becoming one of the most dynamic areas of Jixian economic development.

Tourism projects

In recent years, relying on the advantages of resources, the town has established the development idea of "tourism based town". Eight scenic spots have been built in the town, including Jiushan mountain top, white snake Valley, Longquan Mountain and Jinsong garden. 26 professional tourism villages have been built, with more than 5000 tourism employees. The annual tourism reception is 300000, and the comprehensive tourism income is 35 million yuan.

Recently, the people's Government of Jizhou district and baoze financial group of Australia officially signed a letter of intent for the development and cooperation of Xiaying characteristic small town project.

Xiaying characteristic town project is located around Huanxiu lake, with a total investment of about 700 million Australian dollars. The planning area of the central area is 53.23 square kilometers, and the construction area is 1.3 million square meters. It is planned to build the town center, winery, wetland park, health botanical garden, high-end camp and other leisure facilities. The project will make full use of the local unique environmental advantages, excavate the historical and cultural connotation of the Great Wall, introduce advanced tourism concepts, and plan and build a sustainable development eco-tourism town with a combination of Chinese and western, ancient and modern, and a combination of living, health and leisure.

Honorary title

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Xiaying town as a national health Township in the period of 2017-2019.
