Located in the southwest of Daowai city. Jingyu South shibadao Street borders Chongjian street and Renli street in the East, Jingyu South Qidao street and Jingyu Street in the west, Binjiang street and Binjiang street in the south, Daxin street and Daxing street in the north. It covers an area of 1.04 square kilometers and has a population of 11698 (2010). It governs six communities. The office is located at 111 Jingyu South Shidao street.

Historical evolution

Nanshi Street area was formed in 1916. It is subordinate to Binjiang hall, Binjiang county and Binjiang District 4. In 1932, it belonged to the south market and Nanxin District of dongfujia district. He was liberated in 1946. In 1954, Nanshi sub district office was established, which was named after Nanshi market under its jurisdiction. In 1958, it merged with Taigu sub district office to form Taigu commune. In 1962, Nanshi commune was set up by Taigu commune. He merged with Renli commune into Qianjin commune in 1969. in 1980, Nanshi sub district office was restored. At the end of 1990, it was located in the southeast of Daowai urban area, starting from nanshibadao street in the East, adjacent to Chongjian street, bounded by Binbei railway in the south, to nanshiwudao street and Taigu street in the west, and starting from Nanxin street and Renli street in the north, covering an area of 0.5 square kilometers. It has 6007 households and 19551 residents, 11 neighborhood committees and 219 resident groups under its jurisdiction, and the office is located at 23 nanshibadao street. In 1996, it covers an area of 0.5 square kilometers and has a population of 19000. The office is located in Nanxin street and has jurisdiction over 11 neighborhood committees named after ordinal numbers. In 2000, Taigu street and Nanshi Street co operated as Taigu street. In 2002, the first, second, sixth, seventh and eleventh neighborhood committees merged into Dongfanghong community, and the third, fourth and fifth neighborhood committees merged into Xuanyuan community.
