Gulou Street

Gulou office is the leading town of Macheng City, one of the "three offices" of the city. It is the throat fortress of seven towns in the east of Macheng City. It is adjacent to the azalea of Guifeng in the East, the Jingjiu corridor in the west, and the Shanghai Chengdu Expressway in the north. It has convenient transportation, beautiful mountains and rivers. The JuShui river flows through the whole city, forming a natural and beautiful landscape. Geography

Gulou is located in the urban-rural fringe of Macheng City, covering an area of 43.8 square kilometers. It governs 12 administrative villages and four communities, with a total population of 71000. In recent years, the Party committee of the Department has united and led the whole people around the development strategy of "highlighting investment attraction, strengthening industrial economy, adapting measures to local conditions, developing characteristic agriculture, coordinating development, and building a harmonious society", emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts, pioneering and innovating, and realizing the continuous leap of economic development. From 2005 to 2008, it was awarded as "the first place in comprehensive economic strength", "the first place in financial revenue increase" and "the first place in investment attraction" by Macheng municipal Party committee and municipal government for four consecutive years. In 2008, it was awarded as the top 20 in Township Comprehensive Economic strength by Huanggang municipal Party committee and municipal government. In 2009, it was awarded as "advanced grassroots party organization" by provincial Party committee.
