Desheng Street

In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), Desheng Street belonged to the third branch of the Fifth District; in December 1954, it was changed from Desheng Street Committee to Desheng street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Desheng street was 41890. As of June 2020, Desheng street has five communities under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located in building 6, big and small districts in the West.

History of construction

Desheng street is named for its location near Desheng Gate.

In 1929, it was the third branch of the Fifth District. In 1940, Deshengmen town was established. In October 1947, it was changed to deshengbao. In August 1948, Desheng street was changed.

In November 1950, it was changed to Desheng Street office.

In 1953, it was changed to Desheng Street Committee.

In December 1954, Desheng Street Committee changed to Desheng street.

In August 1964, Xida street was merged into Desheng street.

In March 1979, West Avenue was separated.

In March 1981, Xida street was merged into Desheng street.
