Taojiagong town
Taojiagong Town, belonging to Yizhou District, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the plain and the north of Hami City, adjacent to Huangtian farm in the East, daquanwan Township in the south, Hami City in the west, Tianshan Township in the north across the Gobi, 5.75 km away from the people's government of Hami City. The area is 443.7 square kilometers. In 2018, 20316 people registered residence.
In the Qing Dynasty, the area around taojiagong was under the jurisdiction of Hami hall. At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was directly under the county government. In the early days of the founding of new China, Aya district was set up. Upper and lower Aya belonged to one township and taojiagong to two townships. In 1958, Dongfeng commune was established. In 1978, it was renamed taojiagong commune during the census of place names. In 1984, it was rebuilt as taojiagong township. In June 2011, the township was replaced by taojiagong town. As of October 2019, taojiagong town has 11 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 34 industrial enterprises in taojiagong Town, and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
