Kequ town
Kequ Town, belonging to Gande County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the middle of Gande County, along the West kequ river. It is adjacent to xiazangke Township in the East, xiagongma Township in the south, Dawu Township in the north, and Dangxiang Township in the West. The maximum distance between East and West is 40 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 93 km. The total area is 1753.33 square kilometers.
In 1959, kequ commune was established. In 2004, Dongji Township and kequ Township merged to form kequ town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Ke Qu town was 11626. In 2019, kequ town governs 2 communities and 9 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed at 20 Shengli road.

History of construction
In 1959, kequ commune was established.
In 1984, kequ commune was changed to kequ township.
In 2004, Dongji Township and kequ Township merged to form kequ town.

In 2011, kequ town governs one community of kequ community and nine administrative villages of derijian, qunahe, anmuzhang, Dangwu, along, Muri, derou and Daxie.
In 2019, kequ town governs kequ community and Daxie community, including 9 administrative villages, namely Dangdang village, Muri village, along village, Dongwu village, anmuzhang village, Daxie village, qunahe village, Dechun village and delijian village, and the people's government is stationed at No. 20 Shengli road.
