Yeniugou Township, belonging to Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the west of Qilian County, connecting Zhamashi township of Qilian County in the East, Muli town of Tianjun County in Haixi Prefecture in the south, Yanglong township of Qilian County in the West and Dahe township of Sunan County in Gansu Province in the north, 83 kilometers away from the county. The area is 4596.34 square kilometers. In 2018, 4487 people registered residence.

In 1956, washidan township was built. In 1958, it was renamed yeniugou Township, and the next year, it was renamed yeniugou commune. In 1962, it was changed to yeniugou township. In 1969, it was changed into yeniugou commune. In 1984, it was changed to yeniugou township. As of October 2019, yeniugou township has four administrative villages.

In 2018, yeniugou township has 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
