Xiamen town

Xiamen town, subordinate to Haidong citizen and Hui and Tu Autonomous County of Qinghai Province, is located in the northwest of Minhe Hui and Tu Autonomous County, bordering Xiamen in the East and northeast, Qingsha mountain in the South and Hualong Hui Autonomous County in the branch of Laji mountain, and Zhongba Township in Ledu County in the West and northwest, with an administrative area of 100.6 square kilometers.

After the construction of the county, the registered residence of Xiamen township was founded in 1958. It was founded by the pine tree community in Pine Tree Township and Xinmin Township; in 1962, it was divided into the kip Mun commune; in 1984, it was renamed Xiamen township; in 2002, the village was rebuilt by combining some parts of the reeds, and the town was built in Xiamen. By the end of 2018, there were 13661 registered population in Xiamen town. As at October 2019, 1 communities and 16 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Xiamen town, and the town government was located in Sun Jia Zhuang village.

In 2018, Xiamen town has 1 industrial enterprise and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

After Minhe built the county, it was called Xiamen township.

In 1958, it merged with Songshu Township and Xinmin Township to form Songshu commune.

In 1962, Xiamen commune was established separately.

In 1984, it was renamed Xiamen township.

In 2002, some villages in Lucao were merged and the township was removed to build Xiamen town.
