Shuangcha town
Shuangcha Town, subordinate to Luqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Luqu county. It is adjacent to Ala Township in the East and Southeast, Xicang Township in the West and northwest, Maixi Township and amuquhu Township in Xiahe County in the north and Maixi Township in Xiahe County in the northeast. The area is 448.36 square kilometers. In 2018, 5588 people registered residence.
In 1956, Shuangcha district government was established. In 1958, Shuangcha commune was set up. At the end of the year, ALA commune belonged to it. In 1961, Shuangcha commune was divided into Shuangcha and ALA townships. In 1966, it changed its name to Chaoyang township. In 1968, it restored its original name and established the Shuangcha Township Revolutionary Committee. At the end of the year, it changed the township into a commune system. In 1984, it was changed into a township. In 2017, the township was replaced by township. In June 2020, Shuangcha town governs four administrative villages.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and one industrial enterprise above Designated Size in Shuangcha town.
