Kangduo Township

Kangduo Township, belonging to Zhuoni County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Zhuoni county. It is adjacent to baowa Tu Township and Bajiao township of Lintan County in the East, qiagai Township in the south, zogaiduoma township of Hezuo city in the west, Hezheng and Kangle counties of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in the north. The area is 348.42 square kilometers. In 2018, 2472 people registered residence.

After October 1949, it belonged to Kawei and kangduo township of Beishan district. In 1958, after the merger of Lintan and Zhuoni counties, they were assigned to Yeliguan commune of Lintan county. In 1962, after the two counties were set up separately, kangduo township was set up. At the end of 1965, it was merged with nearby pyowa Township, still known as kangduo township. In June 2020, kangduo village governs four administrative villages.

In 2018, kangduo Township had one industrial enterprise and three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

After October 1949, it belonged to Kawei and kangduo township of Beishan district.

In 1958, after the merger of Lintan and Zhuoni counties, they were assigned to Yeliguan commune of Lintan county.

In 1962, after the two counties were set up separately, kangduo township was set up.

At the end of 1965, it was merged with nearby pyowa Township, still known as kangduo township.

At the end of 2011, kangduo village had four villagers' committees, namely, baituzui, Duoma, Kawei and Chaba, and 20 villagers' groups.

In June 2020, kangduo village governs four administrative villages: baituzui village, Duoma village, Kawei village and Chaba village. The Township People's government is located in baituzui village.

Kangduo township is located in the north of Zhuoni County, bordering on pyowa Tuzu Township and Bajiao township of Lintan County in the East, qiagai Township in the south, zogaiduoma township of Hezuo city in the west, Hezheng and Kangle counties of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in the north. The area is 348.42 square kilometers.

topographic features

Kangduo township has a combination of steep and flat terrain, which is divided into high mountains and flat land. Baishi mountain is the main mountain range. Baishi mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is located in the north of kangduo Township, with an altitude of 3800 meters. Lianzhu bridge, the lowest point, is located in the East-West corner of kangduo Township, with an altitude of 2900 meters.

Kangduo Township River belongs to the Yellow River Basin. The main river is mochuan River, a branch of Taohe River, with a total length of 30 kilometers; the largest river in the territory is shuimochuan River, which flows from Baishi mountain to guomatan grassland through kangduo township to Yemu river. The drainage area is 1.9 square kilometers, with an average annual flow of 1.2 cubic meters per second.
