Taoyan town

Taoyan Town, belonging to Zhuoni County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Zhuoni County, adjacent to zangbawa Township in the northeast, Min county of Dingxi City in the south, Shimen township of Lintan County in the West and Yangsha township of Lintan County in the north. The area is 116.85 square kilometers. In 2018, 5423 people registered residence.

Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Tusi Huahua, and under the jurisdiction of Minxian houtusi, zhuoniyang Tusi, lintanmin Tusi and Huichuan Zhao Tusi. At the beginning of 1953, Xinbao district was set up. In 1962, Taoyan township was established. In 1965, laza township was merged into Taoyan township. In June 2020, Taoyan town has five administrative villages.

In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Taoyan town and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Tusi Huahua, and under the jurisdiction of Minxian houtusi, zhuoniyang Tusi, lintanmin Tusi and Huichuan Zhao Tusi.

At the beginning of 1953, Xinbao district was set up.

In 1962, Taoyan township was established.
