Zhagulu town

Zhagulu Town, subordinate to Zhuoni County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Zhuoni County, bordering shubu township of Lintan County in the East, daogao Township in the south, Luqu county and Hezuo city in the west, and wanmao Township and azitan Township in the north. The area is 216.94 square kilometers. In 2018, 6770 people registered residence.

In 1912, Luzhu township was established. After 1949, Lu Zhu District of Lintan county was established. In 1958, when linzhuo and linzhuo counties merged, they were divided into two groups, and Luzhu commune was set up in Lintan county. In 1962, after the restoration of the county system, zhagulu township was established at the beginning, and then zhagulu commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to zhagulu township. In 1998, the township was removed to build a town, and zhagulu town was set up, which is subordinate to Zhuoni county. In June 2020, eight administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of zhagulu town.

In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in zagulu town.

Historical evolution

In 1912, Luzhu township was established.

After 1949, Lu Zhu District of Lintan county was established.

In 1958, when linzhuo and linzhuo counties merged, they were divided into two groups, and Luzhu commune was set up in Lintan county.

In 1962, after the restoration of the county system, zhagulu township was established at the beginning, and then zhagulu commune was established.

In June 2020, zagulu town governs eight administrative villages: Malu village, luricha village, qiangcha village, Bolin village, zagulu village, tazha village, 80kA village and sailuna village. The town people's government is stationed in Malu village.
