Yanling Township

Yanling township is subordinate to Dongxiang Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. It is located in the southeast of Dongxiang Autonomous County, bordering Wangji Township in the East, Nalesi town in the south, suonan town in the West and Dashu Township in the north. The area is 36 square kilometers. In 2018, 6325 people registered residence.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Dongxiang twelve associations. In 1953, Yanling township was established. In 1958, it was incorporated into Wangji commune. In 1960, Yanling commune was established. In 1983, the township was restored. In June 2020, five administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Yanling rural area.
