Taishi town

Taishi town is located in the north of Lintao County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province. It is adjacent to Qilihe district and Yuzhong County of Lanzhou City in the East, Xindian town in the south, Taohe River in the west, Dongxiang Autonomous County of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in the west, Hongqi Township and Zhongpu town in the North, with an administrative area of 218.02 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, 34284 people had registered residence in Tai Shi town. As of June 2020, 23 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Tai Shi Town, and the town government was stationed in Tai Shi Pu village.

History of construction

In 1912, it was the seat of Taosha county government.

In September 1949, taishipu district was established.

In May 1950, Taosha county and Lintao County merged into the third district.

In August 1961, taishipu commune was established.

In August 1965, he joined Xindian commune.

In December 1979, taishipu commune was restored.
