Yongzheng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhengning County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Zhengning County, facing Yonghe town across the ditch in the south, yulinzi town in the West and Pingzi town in Ningxian County in the north, with a total administrative area of 95.33 square kilometers.

In August 1935, it was Changle District of Xinzheng County; in August 1944, it was renamed Yongzheng Township because of the same name as Yongle township of adjacent Ying County in Shaanxi Province; in September 1983, Yongzheng commune was changed into township. In December 2014, Yongzheng township was built from township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Yongzheng town was 27617. In June 2020, Yongzheng town governs 10 administrative villages.

At the end of 2011, the total financial revenue of Yongzheng town was 4.645 million yuan, an increase of 20.6% over the previous year. In 2018, Yongzheng town has 3 industrial enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1934, Changle township was established.

In August 1935, it was Changle District of Xinzheng County.

In February of 1937, it was put under Zhengning County, with two townships of Jigang and Yongle.

In August 1944, it was renamed Yongzheng Township because it had the same name as Yongle Township in Shaanxi Province.

In October 1949, it was the Fifth District of Zhengning county.

In November 1955, it was renamed Yongzheng district.

In May 1956, Yongzheng township was under the jurisdiction of the county.

In September 1958, yulinzi commune was established by merging with yulinzi township.

In May 1961, Yongzheng commune was established.

In September 1983, Yongzheng commune was transformed into a township.

In December 2014, Yongzheng township was built from township.
