Weiqi town

Weiqi town is located in the south of Shandan County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. It is adjacent to Chenhu Township in the East, Longshou mountain in the northeast, Alxa Right Banner in Inner Mongolia, Liqiao Township in the south, Minlian Township in Minle County in the West and Qingquan town in the north. It covers an area of 568.97 square kilometers. In 2018, the registered residence population of 23849 towns was located in the town of Qi.

At the beginning of the 20th century, Sigou No. 3, which belongs to the warm Fifth District (canal), was changed to the second district later. In 1938, Xiandi township was established. In 1983, Weiqi commune was transformed into a township. In June 1999, the township was removed and a strange town was built. As of October 2019, Weiqi town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the people's Government of weiqi town is stationed in Weiqi village.

In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises in Weiqi Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution
