Shibalibao Township

Shibalibao Township, belonging to Gulang County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located 9 kilometers to the south of Gulang county. It is adjacent to Huangyangchuan town in the East, Gufeng town in the west, Gulang town and dingning town in the north, and heisongyi town in the south. The area is 81.94 square kilometers. By 2019, shibalibao township has jurisdiction over five administrative villages. In 2017, there were 4535 permanent residents in shibalibao township.

In 2015, the gross national product of shibalibao Township reached 169.8 million yuan, the added value of the primary industry reached 28.85 million yuan, the investment in fixed assets reached 43.75 million yuan, the per capita net income reached 3125 yuan, and the per capita disposable income was 3280 yuan. In 2017, there were 4 enterprises in shibalibao Township, with 31 employees, including 1 industrial enterprise.

Historical evolution

In 1961, it was separated from Huangyangchuan commune and built Shilibao commune.

In 1964, the dongmiaoergou brigade of Hexuan Mahe commune and Huangyangchuan commune was longgou commune.

In 1982, set up 18 Li Bao Township, under the jurisdiction of Gulang district.

In 1984, the district was withdrawn and the Miaoergou township of Huangyangchuan was called shibalibao township.

In 2007, shibalibao Township had 1895.2 hectares of arable land and 1584 tons of grain output. There are 3180 large livestock, 15687 goats and sheep, and 4189 live pigs.

In 2015, a total of 3360.9 mu of facilities for agriculture and animal husbandry were built in Shilibao Township, including 2543.9 mu of breeding greenhouses and 817 mu of solar greenhouses, with an average household area of 2.6 mu. Seven high standard breeding communities with an area of more than 50 mu were built. The livestock and poultry production in the township reached 49000 heads. The annual development of dry farming potato was more than 5000 mu, and the planting area of plateau summer vegetables was more than 1500 mu. A total of 669 mu of facilities for agriculture and animal husbandry have been built in Huanghuatan ecological resettlement area, mainly for cattle and sheep breeding, fruit and vegetable planting, and 120.7 mu of characteristic economic forest mainly for wolfberry.

Ecological migration

In 2015, relying on the Huanghuatan project of ecological migration and poverty alleviation and development, shibalibao Township organized 1050 households and 4561 people to move, including 539 households and 2315 people to Huanghuatan resettlement area. In 2015, 307 people from 73 households were relocated to points 3 and 8 in Huanghuatan resettlement area, and 105 people from 22 households were registered in points 1 and 9. Among the four pure mountain villages included in the resettlement plan, zhongtuan, tiehou and mengjiawopu villages on tiecuishan are relocated as a whole, while huangnigang village is basically relocated as a whole. The caoyaogou formation in Zhaojiazhuang village was relocated as a whole.
