Dingning Town, belonging to Gulang County, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, is located 11 kilometers in the northeast of Gulang county. It is connected with Tumen town and Huanghuatan town in the East, shibalibao Township and Huangyangchuan town in the south, Gulang town and Sishui town in the west, Gulang River Center in the west, and Tumen town in the north, covering an area of 165.09 square kilometers. Historical evolution

In 1955, he dingning and Shuanghe Township were named dingning township.

In 1958, it merged with Sishui Township and established Hongqi commune.
