Shimaping Street

Shimaping street, belonging to Qinzhou District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province, is located in the center of Qinzhou District. It is adjacent to qilidun street in the East, Yuquan town in the south, Tianshui County Street in the west, Jihe River in the north, with a total population of 37982 in 2011.

Before 1949, there were only a few villages in the area. In 1984, shimaping street was set up, and shimaping neighborhood committee under the jurisdiction of Dongguan Street and Qiaoyi and Qiaoer neighborhood committees under the jurisdiction of Xiguan Street were assigned to shimaping street. In February 1985, four residents' committees were set up, including Qingnian forest, Liao Jiamo, timber reform factory and Changtong factory. In November 1987, five more residents' committees were set up, namely, Zhouyi factory, Binxi, Bindong, Lianting and dongtuanzhuang. As of October 2019, shimaping street has five communities under its jurisdiction.

At the end of 2011, there were 710 commercial outlets and 1210 employees in shimaping street; the total sales of social goods reached 69 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year; the turnover of urban and rural fair trade was 51 million yuan, an increase of 5.3% over the previous year.
