BaiCaoYuan Town, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Huining County, bordering caotan town in the East, riverside town in the south, guochengyi town in the West and northwest, and tugaoshan Township in the northeast, with a total administrative area of 175 square kilometers.
In 1961, Baiyuan commune was established; in 1983, it was changed to BaiCaoYuan township. In 2015, BaiCaoYuan township was built from township. By the end of 2018, the population of Bai Cao yuan registered residence was 24993. In June 2020, BaiCaoYuan town governs one community and eight administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in BaiCaoYuan town was 3760 yuan. In 2018, BaiCaoYuan town has 5 industrial enterprises and 14 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1961, Baiyuan commune was established.
In 1981, it was renamed BaiCaoYuan commune.
In 1983, it was changed to BaiCaoYuan township.
In 2015, BaiCaoYuan township was built from township.

By the end of 2011, BaiCaoYuan town had eight administrative villages: Xipo, Jingzhuang, kutuo, 900, 200, Beiliu, Shuwang and Zongbao. The town people's government is located in Beiliu village.
In June 2020, BaiCaoYuan town governs one community and eight administrative villages: Xingyuan community, jiubaihu village, 200hu village, kutuo village, Xipo village, shangshuerwang village, Jingjiazhuang village, beiliujia village and Zongbao village.
