JINGTIE District
JINGTIE District, located in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province, is one of the three municipal administrative districts set up by Jiayuguan City on December 1, 2009. Its establishment ended the history of Jiayuguan city not divided into districts. But it belongs to Jiayuguan City's administrative agency, not the Administrative Region registered by the Ministry of civil affairs, not the formal county-level administrative region.
In December 2019, JINGTIE district was abolished and Jiayuguan suburban Party Working Committee (suburban Work Office) was established.
The origin of the name
It got its name from Jingtieshan.
administrative division
The boundary between JINGTIE and Xiongguan starts from the county-level administrative boundary between Jiayuguan and Jiuquan in the west, the intersection point of Yumen line of Jiayuguan and the center line of 215 provincial road, goes eastward along the center line of 215 provincial road to 312 National Road, then along the center line of 312 National Road to Yangguan Road, turns eastward by North, goes eastward along the center line of West Yingbin Road to the intersection point of West Yingbin Road and South Xinhua Road. The whole line is 27.5km long, with JINGTIE District in the South and Xiongguan District in the north.
JINGTIE District governs Qianjin Street, Yuyuan street, Chaoyang Street and Wenshu town.
Qianjin Street
Qianjin Street is located in the southwest of Jiayuguan City, with jurisdiction over 7 communities. The office is located in Jiawen road.
Yuyuan Street
Yuyuan street is located in the south of Jiayuguan City, which governs 8 communities.
Chaoyang Street
Chaoyang Street is located in the southeast of Jiayuguan City, covering an area of 10 square kilometers. It governs four communities, including Chaoyang, Yangguang, Jiayuan, Zhaohui, Zixuan, Mingzhu, runzeyuan, etc. There are 3474 households (about the first half of 2010), including 3234 households with 7144 permanent residents and 310 households with 1468 floating population.
Manjusri Street
Wenshu town is located in the southeast of Jiayuguan City, South by Wenshu mountain, north by Beidahe, with an average altitude of 1450 meters. It covers an area of 133.91 square kilometers and has a population of 2074 households and 7389 people (at the end of 2008). It has jurisdiction over six administrative villages. The town government is located in Shiqiao village, 12 kilometers away from the urban area.
Regionalization reform
On December 10, 2019, Jiayuguan City held the inaugural meeting of Xiongguan sub district Party Working Committee (sub district office), Gangcheng sub district Party Working Committee (sub district office) and suburban Party Working Committee (suburban Work Office), read out the jurisdiction scope and institutional setting plan of Xiongguan sub district Party Working Committee, Gangcheng sub district Party Working Committee and suburban Working Committee, as well as the appointment document of leading group members.
According to the reply of Gansu Provincial People's Government on Approving the establishment of Xiongguan sub district office and Gangcheng sub district office in Jiayuguan City, the provincial government has approved the establishment of Xiongguan sub district office and Gangcheng sub district office in Jiayuguan City, and all 31 communities previously under the jurisdiction of Changcheng District, JINGTIE district and Xiongguan district have been included in the jurisdiction of these two sub district offices.
According to the relevant regulations of Gansu Provincial Committee, Jiayuguan suburban Party Working Committee (suburban Work Office) is mainly responsible for the management and guidance of Yuquan Town, Xincheng town and Wenshu town.
