Xigou street is located in the urban area of Shenmu City, with a total area of 175 square kilometers, including 20200 mu of cultivated land. It has 13 administrative villages and 1 community, distributed in two mountains and one gully (Nanshan, Beishan and dongxigou). It has 3100 permanent residents, 11560 people and about 4500 floating population. There are 29 grassroots party organizations (1 Street Party Working Committee, 1 General non-public Party branch, 11 non-public party branches, 13 village level party branches, 1 organ Party branch, 1 Community Party branch and 1 Mobile Party branch) in the whole street, with 640 party members. The territory is rich in coal resources, including 8 coal mines, 1 circular industrial concentration area (shangyushumao industrial concentration area) with 22 enterprises, 1 suburban agricultural demonstration park (Xigou suburban agricultural demonstration park) with 8 enterprises, and 33 other agricultural enterprises, professional cooperatives and large farmers. The whole street has basically realized the comprehensive supporting facilities of road, electricity, water, communication, radio and television. Fengjiata and other village groups have been integrated with Shenmu city. On November 23, 2018, the sub district office was established.
