Wangzhuangpu town
Wangzhuangbao town is located 45 kilometers southeast of Hunyuan County, adjacent to Fanshi in the southwest and Lingqiu in the southeast. It is the resident of the people's Government of wangzhuangbao town. The town is located in a small basin between the Hengshan Mountains in Beiyue, with Erlong mountain in the West and Hutou mountain in the East. The Tang River runs through the foot of the mountain, and the terrain inclines from west to East. The resident population was 13180 (2017), with Chen as the major surname, followed by Zhang and Yang, and Nanbei street as the main street.
Basic information
Wangzhuangbao town is located in the southernmost part of Hunyuan County, at the junction of Hunyuan, Lingqiu and Fanshi counties. Dalai line and Dawei line run through the town, and it is located on the banks of Tang River and Mawei river. It was built in the 19th year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty (1540) and has a history of 500 years. It used to be a business center and commodity distribution center with a radius of tens of miles. Merchants gathered and economy flourished, so it is called "Castle state". According to the "two ports and one pass", namely Xihekou, tuanchengkou and Pingxingguan, it is a place for military strategists in history. There is Tangtou hot spring, a unique place in northern China.
Wangzhuangbao town was formed by the merger of wangzhuangbao town and Xihekou Township in 2001. After the merger, 32 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of wangzhuangbao town. In 2003, 30 administrative villages were merged. The town covers an area of 188 square kilometers, ranking third in the county. It has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages and 5 natural villages, with 3980 households and 15240 people, ranking fifth in the county in terms of population. The total cultivated area is 49000 mu, the annual rainfall is 400mm, and the frost free period is 125 days. The local people have the traditional habit of planting fruits, so they have the title of "hometown of fruits". Bingguo, Jieli and Pingguoli are the main varieties.
In 2010, the total rural economic income of the town was 95 million yuan, ranking the eighth in the county, an increase of 15% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers was 2800 yuan, ranking the eleventh in the county, an increase of 21% over the previous year. There were 6569 workers in the town, 1100 migrant workers, and the per capita labor income was 10100 yuan. There were 6000 large livestock, an increase of 2% over the previous year. There were 15500 pigs and 42000 sheep, an increase of 3.3% and 2.6% over the previous year, respectively. The grain output is 13 million jin. Ming Dynasty was located in the "nine border" area to guard against Tatar and Wala, the powerful ethnic groups in the north, and there were fortresses built around the town. Because it is called "wangzhuangbao". Agriculture is the main industry, rich in corn, millet, beans and fenzibai, tomatoes and other vegetables; it is also located at the junction of Hunyuan, Lingqiu and Fanshi counties. In the east of the village, there is Datong to Lingqiu daomaguan trunk road, and there is the intersection of county-level roads in the north by Liang and southwest of the town to Daying Town of Fanshi. In recent years, it has become a transportation hub and commercial center in the south of Hunyuan Da. The popular operas are Beilu Bangzi and Errentai. People are courteous and sincere. There are some famous places of interest, such as Wangzhuang castle built in the Hongwu Period of the early Ming Dynasty. The city wall is one li long from north to South and half Li wide from east to west, and its east wall and south gate still exist. It has jurisdiction over 21 village committees including wangzhuangbao, Baiyang, yiangou, PANJIAGOU, nanpotou, beipotou, Dongzhuang, Majiagou, hanyugou, Hongshui, Shuiyu, Shuimo, shangdazhi, xiadazhi, shangniuhuan, xianiuhuan, Tangtou, Xingzhuang, wangoumen, Xihui and yangshuwan. Agricultural production naked oats, yams, fruits. Tanghuo hot spring is in the territory.
