Small villages and towns, belonging to Wugong County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, are located in the southeast of the county. It borders sang town of Xingping City in the East, Sizhu town of Zhouzhi County of Xi'an city across Weihe River in the south, Dazhuang town in the West and Puji town in the north. Its total area is 46.56 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, 25 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of small towns. As of 2018, the registered residence of small towns was 76318. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of small villages and towns reached 68.9 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 420 million yuan, and the total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 43.52 million yuan.

Historical evolution

The town people's government was originally located in a small village.

In 1729, Xuegu town was established.

In 1933, it was under the jurisdiction of Wugong County.

In 1953, Xuegu township was established, with 33 agricultural production cooperatives under its jurisdiction.

Satellite commune was established in 1958. In November of the same year, satellite commune was withdrawn and Xuegu management area of Puji commune was set up, with 14 production teams under its jurisdiction.

In 1961, it was separated from Puji commune and established Xuegu commune, which has jurisdiction over 23 production teams.

In 1984, Xuegu township was set up.

In 2001, Xuegu township was merged into small towns.

In 2011, pujijie township was merged into small towns.
