Xuelu Town, belonging to Qian County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the southeast of the county. It is adjacent to Shide town of Liquan County in the East, Malian town in the south, Jiangcun town in the West and Dayang town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 9 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 8 kilometers, with a total area of 61.73 square kilometers.

Historical evolution

According to the draft of general annals of Shaanxi, Xue Luzhen was named Xue Lu because it is said that Xue Rengui was granted food and salary here.

Records of Chang'an annals: in the Song Dynasty, there was Xuelu town. In the southeast of the state, in the middle of Pingchuan, there were many merchants and merchants in all directions. It was just like a city.

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Xue Tu Lianbao was set up, and later it was changed into Xue Wang Township.

After 1949, xuewang district (three districts) was established.

In 1956, Xuelu township was set up again.

In 1958, Xuelu, Daqiang and Malian townships formed a satellite commune, which was later renamed Xuelu commune.

In March 1963, Xuelu commune was divided into Xuelu commune and Daqiang commune.

In 1984, Xuelu commune was changed into Xuelu town.
