Zuotuan township is located 7.5km west of Guangling County, on both sides of Huliu River, near Huquan town in the East, Nancun Town in the west, Yixing Township in the South and douquan Township in the north. There are mainly highway shuowei line and tianrou line. The rural highway network has been basically formed.

Zuotun township has a variety of landforms, such as mountains and hills. Loess is widely distributed in the township. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. The total land area is 98.34 square kilometers, accounting for 9% of the total area of the county.
