Zhongsha Township

Gongbujiangda County, Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the township and seven administrative villages, namely Linze village, Nagang village, Zhongsha village, maiba village, wengbang village, balang village and Jiemu village. The township government is located in Zhongsha village.

It is located on the South Bank of Niyang River in the south of gongbujiangda County, Linzhi City, Tibet, 13km away from gongbujiangda county.

The township covers an area of 1897.84 square kilometers.

In 2017, there were 3100 people in the township.

It is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral Township, planting highland barley, wheat, barley and rape; Grazing Yak, cattle and sheep.

In August 1959, it merged four small townships into Zhongsha District, and in September 1987, it was changed into Zhongsha township. In 1996, it covers an area of 200 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. It governs 13 administrative villages, namely jiesan, jiejie, qiangla, balang, langbulang, Mai, Deqing, zhongsa, lagang, Bingjiu, nieding, Linda and Bangda. Culture and education

On March 17, 2009, the armed police Linzhi regional detachment and gongbujiangda County Zhongsha Township Primary School held the unveiling ceremony of "Armed Police People's love school". The armed police Linzhi regional detachment donated 60000 yuan to Zhongsha primary school.

Folk Culture Festival

In August 2018, the fourth nianlang folk culture festival was held in Zhongsha Township, including song and dance performances, tug of war and arrow competitions.

famous scenery

Jiaga Dongzan ecological scenic spot in Linze village of Zhongsha township is the only wild Tibetan macaque scenic spot in Tibet.
