Dingqing town
Dingqing County of Changdu City governs the town and the people's Government of the county is stationed. Located in the central and southern part of the county. Ding Qing was once known as hall Ding Qing, dombu Ding Qing, jiamutang, etc. It covers an area of 1275.4 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over six village committees and 62 natural villages.
General situation
The town government is located in Dingqing village. The population is 29320 (2017), mostly Tibetan. There are many lakes in the area. Wild animals include Swertia deer and so on. The economy is dominated by agriculture, supplemented by animal husbandry. The cultivated land covers an area of 1067.2 hectares, with primary and secondary schools and County People's hospitals. Historical evolution
Dingqing district was established in 1960, and the commune was changed in 1974. Dingqing township was established in 1984. In 1989, Chalong, Zhongbo, Butuo and rechang townships were merged into Dingqing town.
economic development
Highland barley, wheat and rape are planted. It produces Cordyceps, Fritillaria, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, snow lotus, etc. Yak, sheep and goat are the main animal husbandry.
