Chaiwei Township
Chaiwei Township, located in the north of the county, the East Bank of Zhaqu River Basin, with an average altitude of 3400 meters.
The township covers an area of 880.04 square kilometers, connecting Ritong Township in the south, Yoba Township in the west, Gama Township and mianda Township in the northwest and North, and laduo Township in the East. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 97 natural villages (villagers' groups). Karuo district is an agricultural township in the north. Due to its relatively high altitude, the development level of agricultural production is very uneven. However, the wengdagang and Jintong areas of the township make use of ancestral gold, silver, copper, iron and wood to make handicrafts and vigorously develop national handicraft industry, enjoying a high reputation in eastern Tibet.
