Ma Xiang
Ma Township is subordinate to Bailang County, Xigaze City, Tibet, located in the southwest of the county, with a total population of 5075 (2017). "Ma" is Tibetan, which means "son-in-law Valley". In 1961, Mapu Township and Wangda Township were established. In 1988, Mapu township was merged with Wangda township. It is 34 kilometers away from the county government. It covers an area of 192.98 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 11 village committees including wangxue, Jiting, Tugu, Suokang, guodui, menkang, tingzhuo, Puneng, zemai, Puxi and Thornton. Mainly in agriculture, planting highland barley, wheat, rape and so on. There are three Buddhist temples, big and small, among which the xiebuzhulin temple was first built in 1263. Topography and transportation
It is beneficial to animal husbandry; the northwest is thickly shrubbery, inhabiting wild animals such as Cinnamomum camphora, yellow sheep, leopard, snow chicken, eared pheasant, etc. Gaerniangqu (Meiwu River) passes through southwest from southeast to northwest and joins into Shuiqu. Township government resident 3120 meters above sea level, the climate is cold and wet, windy in winter and spring. The local roads in the township lead to Hezuo city in the southwest, kagadao Township in the northwest, and zuogedoma Township in the northeast. All villages are open to traffic and have convenient transportation.

Agricultural prospects
The total area of the township is 192.98 square kilometers, mainly grassland and grassland meadow. Yak and sheep were the main livestock. By the end of 2005, there were 46004 livestock in stock. Cultivated land is mainly distributed in the valley and sunny slope below 3300 meters above sea level, with a total of 25697.85 mu by the end of 2005. Crops include highland barley, pea, rape and green fodder. In 2005, the sown area of grain crops was 15700 mu, with a total output of 2243 tons; the sown area of oil crops was 5100 mu, with a total output of 458 tons, and the sown area of green fodder was 4746 mu. The forest area is about 2200 mu, mainly distributed in Gangcha village.
Tourism mineral resources
There are gold, silver, copper and other non-ferrous metal deposits, in addition to arsenic and other non-metallic mineral resources, mainly distributed in the vicinity of Gangcha and dewulu villages. There are two Tibetan Buddhist temples, ganniang temple and Gangcha temple, with beautiful scenery and long history. There are Gangcha cave, stone tablet, Xining beach grassland and other scenic spots for tourism.
