Duobai Township
Duobai Xiang is located in the southwest of ANGREN County, Tibet, 65 kilometers away from the county seat, with an average altitude of 4080 meters. It governs 19 administrative villages, 43 natural villages and 6326 people (2017). The township has steep mountains, crisscross gullies, rugged roads along the Yajiang River, and extremely inconvenient traffic conditions. In particular, 986 people from 156 households in 5 administrative villages and 19 natural villages have no access at all.
Duobai township was founded in 1960, changed to commune in August 1970 and restored to township in 1982. Located in the southwest of the county, the township government is located in duobai village, 65 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 960.22 square kilometers and has a population of 6326 (2017). The Yarlung Zangbo River passes through. It has jurisdiction over 19 village committees, including laguo, Zha, rireguo, Matsuo, renqingding, Rongfu, renqinglin, rongnu, ningga, leding, Xie, Maduo, Yaduo, Chulong, duobai, Dexia, ye, Chike and cuobulong.
