Evolution of organizational system
Minhua town is located in the southwest of Xishui County, on the right side of Xichi highway, covering an area of 49.5 square kilometers. It borders Donghuang in the East, Longxing in the South and Tucheng in the northwest. The average altitude is 900m, with mild climate and sufficient light. The traffic and communication of the whole town are convenient, and the highway network extends in all directions. The outer ring, coal base and satellite city of the county were transcribed by the people. Adjacent to the qinggangpo battlefield site of the "four crossing Chishui" campaign, it is the passing place of the Red Army in that year, retaining the footprints and stories left by the Red Army in that year.
The origin of the word "nationalization" is like this. In the early years of the Republic of China, Minhua town belonged to Minsheng Town, Minzhi town and Pinghua town. After the Northern Expedition (1926), the name of "people oriented" was formed by taking "people oriented" and "people oriented" respectively. During the period of agrarian revolution, the "people oriented joint guarantee" was established, and during the Anti Japanese War, it was renamed "people oriented township" until the eve of liberation. At the beginning of liberation, the people's government established Minhua Township, belonging to Tucheng District of Chishui county. In 1958, the people's commune was established. In November 1965, suitu city was put under the jurisdiction of Xishui County. In 1982, Minhua township was restored. In July 1992, the people's Government of Minhua township was established with Minhua, Longbao and Sanyuan districts in the original Tucheng district as the jurisdiction, and its resident is fengcunba. A long time ago, Fengcun dam was surrounded by mountains and a deep valley in the middle. The flood brought a large amount of sediment down the mountain and deposited into a "dam" over a long period of time. Therefore, a large number of maple trees grow in the area, so it is called "Fengcun dam" or "fengba" for short. The dam is flat and fertile, with abundant rain and light. The crops are abundant every year. The local people changed Fengcun dam into Fengcun dam, which is called fengba for short. On December 28, 2015, Guizhou provincial government (QFH [2015] No. 319) approved to cancel the establishment of Minhua town in Xishui County.
