Pugu Yi and Miao township is located in the north of Panxian County, with an annual average temperature of 13.4 ℃, annual accumulated temperature of 4930.5 ℃ and rainfall of 1269mm. The township covers a total area of 154.94 square kilometers, governs 19 administrative villages, 143 villager groups, 5846 households and 24066 people, inhabiting Yi, Miao, Bai, Buyi, Han and other ethnic groups.
